Delivery of Serial and Parallel Samples

Delivery of serial, parallel samples. As fluid flows upward from the reservoir at bottom right, voltage changes at the channel junction shunt 140-pl packets of liquid to the left. Samples of ~16 pl are removed from these packets and moved in parallel towards the bottom of the image. Such a design could be useful in drug screening, where multiple identical samples are required.
